Pico de Veleta

The highest paved road in Europe provides an superb 43km climb of two halves. One on regular roads the second on a service road that slowly disintergrates to rubble. CX skills a definite advantage over the last 2km. The views from the 3400m lofty perch are quite spectacular and make the hours of toil to get there seem almost worth it! Oxygen supply optional.
